Robbery attempt appeal
A POST officer worker refused to hand over any cash despite being threatened at knifepoint during a failed robbery attempt.
Police have appealed for information following the incident at the Ynysmaerdy Post Office in Neath Road, Briton Ferry.
A South Wales Police spokesman said it happened at around 7.05pm on Tuesday night.
He said: "A male in possession of a knife entered the post office and demanded money from a member of staff.

"The member of staff refused and the male made off.
"He was seen to leave the post office and head up Middleton Street."
The suspect was white, aged 25 to 30, around 6ft tall and of slim build.
Police said he had a thin face with mousey brown stubble and was wearing a white hooded top, with stripes down both arms, and dark jeans.
