Road closed after six vehicle collision close to National Botanic Garden of Wales turn off
A MOTORIST needing medical attention is believed to be trapped in a vehicle on the A48 following a six vehicle collision.
Firefighters from Carmarthen and Pontarddulais received a call to the incident which happened at 5.22pm close to the turn off to the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
A spokeswoman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "One male casualty is believed to be medically trapped."
The road has been closed following the collision and diversions are reported to be in place.
