SADLY, The Morriston Big Band concert scheduled for tonight, at the Mumbles Conservative Club, has been cancelled.

But next Tuesday night, from 8pm, Swansea Jazzland hold their monthly jazz jam session at the St James Social Club in the Uplands.

Musicians are invited to attend, to sit in and play some jazz.

The following evening at the same venue, Compassionate Dictatorship, a group described as "catching the current wave of Brit Jazz" by Jazzwise magazine, will appear at 8.30pm.

Jez Franks and Tori Freestone, together with bassist Jasper Hoiby and drummer James Maddren, will promote their album, Entertaining Tyrants with this one.
