Rising Scarlets star Owen Williams praises pack effort
MAN of the moment Owen Williams has paid tribute to the work of the Scarlets forwards after guiding his side to a crucial victory that keeps the West Wales region firmly in the hunt for the Pro12 play-offs.
Williams picked up a second successive man-of-the-match award after kicking all his side's points in an 18-10 victory over Munster in Llanelli on Saturday evening.

It was another assured display from the 20-year-old, who has enjoyed a stunning introduction to regional rugby.
And afterwards he praised the work of the home eight in helping give him and half-back partner Aled Davies "an armchair ride. The forwards are putting us in good positions and fortunately I have been able to kick the goals," said Williams.

"They are setting the platform and we are having a bit of an armchair ride. It is nice to reward them with some points."
The victory has lifted the Scarlets to fourth in the Pro12 table with seven rounds remaining, taking them above the Ospreys and five points clear of sixth-placed Munster.
"It was vital that we beat Munster," added Williams. "We have pulled away from them a bit and we have now got to keep building for the next couple of weeks."

“good player but any decent pack will bow the scarlets away. I'd wager anything on a home win this weekend and the ospreys replacing the scarlets in the play off spots”
