This is the third time I have seen this year's Celebrity Big Brother winner perform live - and yes, all the key Clary components were well in place.
The hilarious mincing, the vulgar jokes, the cutting remarks, his incomparable ability to interact with unsuspecting audience members - Tegwen the sheep farmer dressed up as a bridesmaid at Julian's civil partnership being a highlight - the well-crafted double entendres and his immaculate wardrobe.

But this tour - titled Position Vacant: Apply Within - showed a more serious and sincere side to our Julian.
It seems Julian is wearing his heart on his sleeve these days - literally - as sequinned hearts adourned his well-cut spotted suit.
Julian has always been able to make me laugh until I can barely breathe but his performance this time round also gave me - and everyone else it seemed - something to think about.
He ended his belly-laughing night with his song "Being straight is okay - but it's cool to be gay" - where he sings about the daily challenges still faced by many homosexuals all over the world. His song highlighted a world where many gay people still feel there is a stigma attached to their sexual choices and are made to feel worthless because of it.
To end on such a serious note seemed unusual for Julian but it also seemed to make a lot of sense - at 53 - or in gay years 317 as he put it - he is older - and certainly wiser.
This is vintage Clary and everything you'd expect and want from someone who has been at the top of their game for so many years - but this tour, this time round - has heart.
