This is SouthWales

SINGING divas Lulu, Chaka Khan and Anastacia have teamed up for this up-tempo show which is probably the campest spectacle Wales will see this Christmas.

The three stars, who each bring something beautifully unique to the table, all burst on to the stage in a mass of glitter and big voices.

After announcing the night was all about having fun, it seemed they certainly meant it. Songs on the set list had nothing in common, except for the fun factor — if it was upbeat and a good dance number, it was in.

They were backed by six excellent dancers who did a fantastic job of filling the arena's stage.

The trio, who wore glittery and colourful outfits throughout, teamed up to belt out iconic hits such as Sisters are Doing it For Themselves and Lady Marmalade.

Each of the three have careers that X Factor wannabes can only dream of, and they each took turns to perform their best-known hits.

This meant Chaka sang I'm Every Woman and Ain't Nobody, while Anastacia had the audience up dancing for One Day in your Life and I'm Outta Love.

But the highlight of the show came from Lulu as she performed her long-surviving hit Shout.

Seeing three polished performers all in the same show was a real treat. It really felt like it was three shows in one as each of the trio had their own musical style and fashion sense.

And every note was live and certainly kicking. This was the perfect night out to get anyone in a good mood for Christmas.
