DESERVING constituents of Killay North and South enjoyed a special reception at the Mansion House.

Constituents who had contributed to their community were invited along to meet the Lord Mayor Ioan Richard by councillors for both wards, Mary and Jeff Jones.

Mrs Jones said: "It was a very nice afternoon.

"It was about recognising achievements of our constituents."

Among those who were invited were Taha Idris OBE from the Swansea bay Racial Equality Council, members of the Forget Me Not dementia group, and volunteers from Siloam Chapel.
