A £2 MILLION fund to help post offices across Wales expand and diversify their businesses over the next three years has been resumed by the Welsh Government.

The Minister for Local Government and Communities Carl Sargeant relaunched the Post Office Diversification Fund (PODF) on the day an independent evaluation of it was published.

The refreshed scheme takes account of the recommendations within the report on how the scheme could be improved. Key changes in the scheme include the reintroduction of some revenue grants for business advice to allow sub-postmasters to access support.
