Rapidly growing Swansea company short-listed for a regional award
A RAPIDLY growing Swansea company has been shortlisted for a regional award honouring enterprising start-ups.
Roompaddy was created by Swansea University graduates and operates as an online service allowing homeowners to rent spare rooms or their entire homes to travellers, tourists and visitors to the UK looking for short-term accommodation.
The company has been shortlisted for the Lloyds TSB Enterprise Awards which celebrate the brightest students and graduate entrepreneurs across UK, giving them the opportunity to compete for an overall prize of £50,000 to invest in their business, along with a comprehensive business mentoring programme.
Five Welsh businesses have been named in the regional shortlist.

The heat for Wales will take place in Cardiff on March 6.
Winners of the Best Start-Up category will scoop £1,000, while the Best Enterprise winner will take home £5,000.
