Ragged School set the pace early in season
RAGGED School are the early first division leaders in the Preston Jones Insurance Solution Swansea Senior Football League after producing an excellent display of attacking football to beat Llangyfelach 5-1.
Ragged failed to take several chances before opening their account through Nano Totarello, who turned on the edge of the penalty area and fired home.
Llangyfelach pulled a goal back against the run of play, but a brace from Ashleigh Phillips put Ragged 3-1 up at the break.
A youthful Ragged side continued to press home their advantage in the second half and went further ahead when Totarello made it 4-1 before Phillips celebrated his hat-trick with a well-taken header.

Penlan Club kicked off their campaign in style with a 4-0 victory over Morriston Olympic.
Penlan gave competitive debuts to Rob Jenkins, Kieran Meredith, Jordan Lloyd-Evans, Jamie Hopkins and Cory Jones, while they also welcomed back Andrew Lorey.
The home side took the game to Olympic in the first period, but struggled to threaten directly on goal.
Jamie Hopkins was the main danger with some fine individual play inside the Olympic box, while Penlan goalkeeper Dale Hulland had to be at his best with a brave block to deny Olympic the opener.
In the second period Penlan Club's possession began to tell and from a slide-rule pass from Lorey, Carl Mucha finished well.
Hopkins's running gained more purpose against a tiring defence and he helped himself to two goals — a fierce shot on the turn from close range, followed by a solo effort that saw him cut through three players before beating the keeper at the near post.
Meredith capped an impressive match with a shot from the angle of the box into the top left-hand corner to complete the scoring.
Penlan deserved the victory, but Olympic missed a glut of chances, particularly in the second half, and are likely to be among the front-runners again this season.
