Racing fan treks courses
A HORSE racing fan aiming to visit all 60 of Britain's racecourses started the second half of his trek in Carmarthenshire.
Alan McNiff visited the UK's most recently opened course in Ffos Las, Trimsaran, last week.
The 31st visit was notched with help from general manager and course clerk, Tim Long, who provided Mr McNiff with weather updates as he made his way from his home in Vauxhall, South London, for the year's first fixture on Tuesday.
