Lifeboatmen towed a fishing boat to safety after it developed engine problems in Rhossili Bay.

An RNLI crew from Burry Port launched after the 7m vessel, named Sarah Rae, broke down at 8pm yesterday.

The two people onboard contacted Swansea Coastguard for help before the lifeboat was despatched.

The fishing boat was stranded a quarter of a mile west of Burry Holms.
