RIVALS HAPPY TO HELP...
THE reluctance of the Union Street branch of Burger King to hand over hot water is in contrast to other restaurants and cafes.
Rival chain McDonald's said it would be happy to provide water.
A spokesman for six of the golden arches outlets in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot said: "A lot of families come in and we do what we can — sometimes people come in with a pot of food and we warm it up for them, and if they need hot water for a bottle we provide it. We certainly wouldn't charge for a bit of hot water."
There was a similar response from Rhiannon Howells, who owns the Cwtch Cafe in St David's Square in Swansea city centre. She said: "Lots of people bring their children in, we are very family-friendly —if someone needs hot water for a bottle they can have it."

“Is it commonplace for parents with babies to leave home and visit cafes with an empty bottle feeder?
It seems odd to me that the parents carry an empty bottle, baby milk powder container and a measuring cup etc., when it would be sensible to prepare the feed beforehand.
If parents want hot water to heat a baby bottle, see

“"McDonalds: We certainly wouldn't charge for a bit of hot water." Maybe you don't, but you recently fired a young woman for sprinkling chocolate powder on a friend's McFlurry.
