Puppy farm protesters await decision
PROTESTERS will have to wait to find out if a puppy farm is granted planning permission.
Farmer Dylan Jones's retrospective planning application for Beili Bedw Farm, near Llanllwni, has attracted 739 objections from the public, with many raising ethical and practical concerns such as animal welfare and a lack of parking.

In the application's planning statement, Mr Jones's agent Owen Banks says the breeding business is a justified farm diversification and meets Welsh Assembly regulations and local planning authority policies.
When the plans came before Carmarthenshire Council's planning committee last week, councillors decided to defer making a decision so they could visit the farm first.
