Large scale contemporary shadow puppet theatre tells of a poor street boy who falls hopelessly in love with a royal princess.

What magic would he need just to see her again? Follow his wild and dangerous adventures as he gets caught up in excitement way beyond his control.

On Sunday, March 31, Indigo Moon will be presenting Alice and the White Rabbit through giant shadow theatre in the Stwidio Stepni at the Ffwrnes.

Join Alice on her magical adventure as she chases the White Rabbit back in time on a fantastic spiralling journey into Wonderland. Watch her change in size in Indigo Moon's dream-like adaptation of the famous tale by Lewis Carroll, told through shadow theatre.

Alice and the White Rabbit celebrates different shadow techniques and is inspired by the gothic architecture and medieval times of the original white rabbit statue which exists in St.Mary's Church, Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Both shows are suitable for ages four and above and are 50 minutes in duration. If you are intrigued and want to find out more about this inspirational and accessible art form, stay on after the performances as the company will be holding a free workshop.

Meanwhile at the Lyric, Carmarthen, Ga Ga, the ultimate Queen tribute band will be rocking the stage on Saturday, March 30.

Performed by a multi-award winning band that has headlined the International Guitar Festival on several occasions. From numerous Queen conventions to television appearances, Ga Ga have consistently proved why they are so highly rated by critics and audiences alike. There are no wigs, no make-up and definitely no false moustaches. Instead a host of massive Queen songs played like they were meant to be.
