Pupils' lotta bottle aim
NOBODY will be going thirsty in Pembrey as the town's youngsters attempt to collect around 1,500 plastic bottles.
Primary school pupils are appealing for empty two litre bottles to build an eco-greenhouse.

Prince's Trust volunteers will be visiting the school next month to carry out improvements to the grounds — and it is hoped they will have collected enough bottles by the time they arrive.
Year 3 teacher Dominic Conway said: "We need 1,500 two-litre plastic bottles and are appealing to the children, staff, parents and the wider community to please help us reach our target."

Head teacher Helen Jacob added that all pupils were trying their best to collect as many bottles as they could.
"It is great that the children have already responded so enthusiastically to the appeal," she said.
"As recycling is now embedded in our school the plastic bottle greenhouse will enable the children to grow tender plants such as tomatoes."
Anyone with plastic bottles should drop them at the school for Mr Conway.
