FASHION-CONSCIOUS pupils at a Llanelli primary school have bagged some funky style tips from degree students.

Children at Old Road Primary School were visited by students from Coleg Sir Gar's School of Creative Arts, who helped them put their fashion skills to the test.

Pupils chose from recycled clothes and fabrics, and learnt how to sew by making bags out of the materials.

The project was overseen by part-time college lecturer Helen Gill — the brains behind Swansea-based designer label, Helen Rhiannon.
