Pupils' charity efforts add up
ST CLEARS school pupils have hit on a winning way of raising funds for a children's charity.
Youngsters at Ysgol Griffith Jones have been improving their maths skills and helping less fortunate children at the same time — with their sums adding up to more than £1,000.

Head master Emyr Davies said: "The children have been taking part in a variety of maths challenges in their classes and have been collecting sponsors from family and friends for the NSPCC.
"A total of £1,048.80 was raised for the charity and the pupils agreed that it was a fun and worthwhile exercise."
