JAMIE Proctor has left Swansea City for an undisclosed fee and joined Crawley Town.

Proctor signed an 18-month contract with the ambitious League One club after a frustrating five-month spell in South Wales.

The striker arrived from Preston North End in August where he had broken into the first team as an 18-year-old in 2010.

But he failed to make a single first-team appearance at Swansea and spent October on loan at Shrewsbury.

Meanwhile, Marcos Alonso has played down speculation linking him with a move to Swansea.

Michael Laudrup was thought to be tracking Bolton's left-back, but the player said he hadn't heard of any interest.

The 22-year-old's contract is due to expire in the summer and he insists he is happy at the Reebok Stadium.

"I don't read anything (about transfer speculation). My head is in Bolton and I just want to get back with Bolton to the Premier League," said Alonso.

"As for Swansea, I have not spoken to anyone from the club, and they haven't told me anything.

"I am happy now. The manager is doing a great job and, as I said, if we win two or three games, we will get our confidence back and the fans back.

"The rest of the season will be better and we will be in the fight to be in the Premier League."

Alonso joined Wanderers from Real Madrid in 2010.
