Probe after two injured in collision
SOUTH Wales Police are continuing their investigations into a serious road traffic collision which left two people in hospital.
The collision happened in the early hours of Thursday morning at around 00.15am in Station Road, Fforestfach, when a black Vauxhall Astra was in collision with five parked vehicles.
Both the driver and the passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to Morriston Hospital.
Police want to speak to anyone that witnessed the collision or anyone who witnessed the vehicle being driven before the collision happened.
The driver, a 33-year-old man, is in a stable but non-life threatening condition, as is the passenger, a 30-year-old male.
A spokeswoman for the fire service confirmed they also attended the scene and used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the driver from the car.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We are continuing to investigate the collision.
"Anyone who has information regarding the incident and hasn't yet contacted the police is asked to do so.
"We would also like to speak to anyone who stopped to assist at the scene but left without providing their details."
