Princely sum for Tawe boat
IF a dedicated group of fundraisers get their way, The Black Prince could soon be cruising the River Tawe.
Members of the Swansea Community Boat Trust have been to see a vessel for sale in Leeds — and they say it could be just the one for the city.

The organisation is hoping to buy a boat and run passenger cruises from Swansea Marina to the Liberty Stadium, and to use the vessel as a "floating classroom". Trust secretary John Davies said: "I think it's likely that the trust will go all-out to get this boat as it looks ideal.
"It is licensed to operate on rivers such as the Tawe and would be ideal for use as the Swansea Community Boat."
The trust has raised more than £75,000 towards buying a suitable boat, but needs to raise a further £24,000 by Sunday, October 31.
