Ten minutes later Birchgrove doubled their advantage.
Good defensive work from full-backs Rob Davies and Leon Wheatley saw the ball cleared to Ryan Hughes-Whelan, who slotted a through ball to Nathan Thomas, who was fouled inside the area. North stepped up to take the spot-kick and fired home to make it 2-0.
A few minutes later Birchgrove produced a counter attack from a Prescelli throw-in. The loose ball came to right-back Jaden Lee-Williams who skipped away from two players, played a lovely one-two with Connor Jones, and continued his run on through to inside the 18-yard box and scored at the near post.
However, down 3-0, Prescelli fought back strongly. They netted twice, and with only minutes remaining, more pressure from a throw-in saw a high lobbed cross find its way into the back of the net to earn themselves a draw.
Brynawel Under-10s took on Talycopa and went 1-0 up when Alex Brooks swept home. Brynawel doubled their lead after the interval when Jacob Rees found himself unmarked to smash in, and Luis Bates made it three and Finlay Potter four after some flowing football.
In the next game against Llangyfelach, Brynawel started brightly and hit the post. Both teams battled hard and went in at half-time goalless.
After the interval, Brynawel hit the woodwork again before Lewis Taylor opened the scoring with a fine looping header.
Soon after, Brynawel hit the post for a third time but were able to hold out for a 1-0 win.
In their final game of the day, Brynawel ran out winners against Penclawdd thanks to goals from Lewis Taylor (2) and Jacob Rees.
