Premier League clubs target Swansea City striker Luke Moore
SWANSEA City striker Luke Moore is a target for a number of clubs following his omission from the Swans’ pre-season tour of Holland.
As the Evening Post revealed on Thursday, Moore was one of four Swansea players — Alan Tate, Kemy Agustien and Leroy Lita the others — left at home as Michael Laudrup’s squad jetted off for their trip.
The former West Brom forward has a year left on his current deal, but now looks to be heading for the Liberty Stadium exit with Hull, Stoke, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Blackburn and Wigan all reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old.
Moore scored three goals in 16 Premier League appearances last season, though most of those came as a substitute.
“Luke is obviously disappointed not to have been included on the pre-season trip,” Peter Morrison, Moore’s agent, told Sky Sports.
“However, he has a very professional outlook so will be keeping his head down and working on his fitness to make sure he is in peak condition for the start of the season.
“We have had enquiries from a number of clubs and, if an opportunity comes up that is right for both Luke and Swansea City, then we will look at it.
“But he is contracted until the end of the season so he will remain focused and committed to the club until he is told otherwise.”
