Possession charges go to Crown
A MAN has appeared in court facing charges of possessing an axe and a hammer in a public place.
Christopher Thomas, from Port Tennant Road, Port Tennant, faces a charge of possessing a bladed article, namely an axe, and a second charge of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a hammer.
The offences are said to have happened on April 20 at St Leger Crescent, St Thomas. District Judge Vivian Manning-Davies declined jurisdiction in the case.
Thomas, 45, will next appear in front of Swansea magistrates on November 29.
