Two Port Talbot youngsters to become Wales player escorts
TWO lucky youngsters from Port Talbot have won the chance to walk out on the football pitch with the Wales team this month.
Neve McQuaide and Carwyn Eley, both aged seven, who as McDonald's player escorts will walk out at Cardiff City Stadium on October 11 for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match versus Macedonia.
The duo won the player escort place after entering a national competition via McDonald's website.
Neve said: "I can't wait to walk out into the stadium with the Wales players.
"It will be amazing to be on the pitch before the match."
McDonald's and The Welsh FA have been Community Partners since 2002 working together to help young footballers shine by creating more opportunities for children to get involved in football.
