A PORT Talbot nutritional food supplement producer has secured bank support to speed up sales of its products on an international scale.

Cultech, which employs 170 people at its premises on the Baglan Industrial Park, currently sells products in countries such as the USA, Australia and India, but wants to develop business in Europe.

The firm is preparing to celebrate 20 years in business and has now secured a £3 million export invoice facility with HSBC to support global sales growth.

Cultech founder and managing director Nigel Plummer said: "Europe is an area we haven't developed fully, so this finance facility will enable us to grow sales in that market."
