Port Talbot AM calls on council to consider concerns about speed bumps
ABERAVON AM David Rees has called on Neath Port Talbot Council to consider the concerns of councillors and traders before it makes a decision on proposed traffic calming measures.
The authority is planning to place speed cushions at 16 locations in Margam Road. It is part of the Harbour Way scheme to encourage people to use the new relief road.
"The opening of Harbour Way is a welcome investment and will open up our dockland area, but it is a sensible approach to evaluate its usage before taking any further decisions on the road system around Port Talbot," he said. The public consultation process ends on August 23.
