Police search for missing rugby fan Ben Thompson draws a blank
Police looking for missing rugby fan Ben Thompson say they have stopped their daily search operation but will continue "period searches" over the coming weeks and months.
Mr Thompson disappeared on the evening of February 2 after going to the Wales versus Ireland Six Nations game in Cardiff.
He was last seen on CCTV in the Leckwith area of the city.
Police have mounted a major search operation for the 34-year-old from Haverfordwest, but the officer leading the investigation this evening said they had drawn a blank.

South Wales Police chief inspector Eddie Ough said: "Despite the skill, professionalism and best efforts of everyone involved we have unfortunately been unable to find Ben.
"Although daily searches of the river are no longer taking place, we will continue to do our best to find Ben with periodic searches over the coming weeks and months."
He added: "Ben's family have been updated and our thoughts are with them during this very difficult time."
The search operation has involved up to 50 officers — including detectives and specialist search teams — who have focused on the Leckwith area.
Specialist sonar equipment has also been used to search the River Ely from Leckwith Hill bridge to its mouth in Cardiff Bay.
Police have thanked the public for their help in the investigation.
