Police probe footpath assault
POLICE in Swansea are investigating an assault on a woman in Townhill.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning on a footpath connecting Eigen Crescent with Teilo Crescent.
The person responsible for the assault is described as a white man aged 22 to 36 years of age, around 6ft with facial stubble. He wore what is described as a black puffa-type jacket which had a white logo on the chest area.
Detective Inspector Darren George, of Swansea CID, said: "South Wales Police are currently investigating an assault on a female in the Townhill area which occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident occurred on a footpath linking Eigen Crescent with Teilo Crescent.

"I am keen to hear from anyone who may have been out and about in the Townhill or Mayhill areas between the times of 3am and 5am who may have witnessed or heard anything, or seen any persons acting suspiciously.
