Police plea following collision on Carmarthen Road, Swansea
A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital with what police describe as "life-threatening injuries" following a late night collision on one of Swansea's busiest roads.
Officers say the man was in collision with a black Fiat Scudo taxi on Carmarthen Road, near the Waun Wen Road pedestrian crossing.

The casualty was taken to Morriston Hospital.
The incident happened around 1am on Saturday, and officers are appealing to anyone who saw the collision, or the cab being driven immediately before the collision, to come forward.

A South Wales Police spokeswoman said: "Police are requesting that any person that witnessed the collision, or has any information regarding the vehicle involved, contact the police."
