Police launch manhunt for armed robber
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted knife-point robbery at a shop in Neath.
The attacker threatened staff at Kumar Stores in Furnace Terrace, Melyn, with a weapon and demanded cash, before fleeing empty-handed.

The incident happened around 2.45pm on Sunday, and officers are urging anyone with information to come forward, especially a shopper who bumped into the assailant as she was leaving the shop.
It is thought the would-be robber fled along the lane linking Furnace Terrace and Melyn Close following the attack.

Detective Sergeant Lee Carpenter of Neath CID said: "There was a female leaving the shop as the male arrived and they collided in the lane.
"This female has yet to be traced and we would urge her to come forward.
"We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have seen the individual described in the area."
Police have released a description of a man they want to talk to.He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, aged around 25, of thin build, and with "sharp features" and a "sharp nose" and a scratch on his forehead.He was wearing a black hooded top and dark bottoms, and detectives say he spoke with a "local accent".
