Police investigate sexual assault at leisure centre
POLICE have been called to Swansea's LC leisure centre this evening after reports of a sexual assault.
Around a dozen officers are currently at the popular city centre attraction, and a search is underway for the suspect.
The assault is believed to have happened in the pool area of the centre.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: "Police are currently responding to a report of a sexual assault at the LC, Swansea.
"The leisure centre was closed for a short time while police conducted a search inside.
"At this time the suspect remains outstanding with police continuing enquiries to trace and arrest the suspect."
He added: "Police would like to thank the users of LC for their patience during the search and reassure that enquiries are ongoing by Swansea CID."
