POLICE are continuing to investigate a burglary at a Swansea valeting business in which three cars were stolen.

Two of the cars were recovered shortly after the break-in at TCC Valeting on Winch Wen Industrial Estate.

The third car — a Seat Leon belonging to a customer — has been found burnt out on Kilvey Hill.

Police were in the process of studying CCTV images from a premises close to TCC Valeting, Clarke Way, this week.

The incident happened between 3.30pm on Saturday, January 21, and 7.25am on Monday, January 23.

David Winstone, the owner of sole employee of TCC Valeting, said the value of the cars was around £9,000.

He also had £750 of tools and cleaning equipment pinched, plus an £800 Sony VAIO laptop with pictures of his children on it.

Mr Winstone and the building's landlord have since beefed up security measures.

He said the contents were not insured, and that he has had to find £500 to buy new cleaning equipment.

"I was closed for four days, but I have got work coming in," said the 31-year-old, of Trallwn.

If you can help, phone police on 101.
