Police appeal for witnesses following assault in Carmarthen's Lammas Street

POLICE in Carmarthen are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault which took in the town's Lammas Street earlier this month.

The incident took place on Monday, February 4, but Dyfed Powys-Powys Police has only now made the information public.

A man was assaulted as he walked along the street between half past midnight and 1am.

He sustained a broken jaw as a result of the assault and lost a tooth.
