Police appeal after teenager hurt in Swansea hit and run

A teenager has been hurt in a hit-and-run in Swansea.

Police say the 16-year-old sustained injuries after being struck from behind by a passing motorist on the B4436, Clyne Common near to the junction with Copley Lodge.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "The vehicle involved, described as a blue Ford, failed to stop at the scene and continued in the general direction of Murton."

Officers believe the vehicle will have damage to the front passenger side wing, headlight and mirror.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant information to the incident, which happened at 7.45am on Wednesday, November 21, should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number 62120376353.
