"I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area a year ago and who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity, or who can assist with the identity of the suspect, to come forward."
The attack happened around 10.15pm on Thursday, December 20, 2011.
Police have released a description of a man they want to talk to connection with the incident.
He is described as skinny, wearing camouflaged trousers and a black hooded top, and speaking with a "local" accent.
