Police appeal after road collision on Fabian Way, Swansea
Police are continuing to investigate after a 21-year-old man was hospitalised in a road collision in Swansea.
It happened at around 11.15pm on Saturday on Fabian Way with its junction with Port Tennant Road.
The man was taken to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, where his condition is described as serious.
Officers believe that prior to the collision the driver of a White Skoda style taxi that was travelling towards the city centre stopped at the traffic lights at the Port Tennant Road junction and spoke to a man who matches the description of the injured pedestrian.

At the time the pedestrian was leaning against a road side cabinet.
Sergeant Rowan Moore of the roads policing department said: “We believe that the injured man was leaning against a roadside cabinet and was in conversation with a taxi driver just prior to the collision and we need this driver to come forward as soon as possible as we are trying to establish the movements of the pedestrian prior to him being knocked down.”
“I would urge this taxi driver or anyone who can help us to identify him to come forward as soon as possible”
