Police name Kingsway death pedestrian
A PEDESTRIAN who died after being involved in a collision with a bus on Swansea's Kingsway has been named as Daniel Foss.
The 37 year old from Reynoldston in Gower died on Tuesday in Morriston Hospital where he was being treated for his injuries.
In a statement his devastated family said he was a special person.
“Daniel was a big character, who was the life and soul of the party. He loved life, and did not have an enemy in the world," they said.
“Daniel was the most loving and tactile, special person, you could ever wish to meet. He was protective of friends and family.”
“Daniel’s family and friends are devastated by his loss.”
Mr Foss was in collision with a white coach, following which he was taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where he later died from his injuries
South Wales Police have been investigating the incident which happened at around 4.50pm and involved a white coach.
Sgt Patrick Joyce of the serious collision investigation unit said, “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision who have not yet come forward and who witnessed the collision, the movements of Mr Foss or the manner in which the vehicle was being driven prior to the collision to contact the western roads policing office at Lakeside, Swansea."
