A MAN accused of having petrol cans and matches with intent to destroy property has had his case committed to crown court.

Terence Hunt, 54, appeared at Swansea Magistrates' Court accused of intending to cause or permit another to use the items he had in his possession to destroy property at Penlan Social Club on July 4.

Hunt, of Heol Cadifor, Penlan, has previously pleaded not guilty. The case was adjourned to July 1. Hunt was given conditional bail.
