Petition ends today
PORT Talbot campaigners have collected more than 1,000 signatures from people against proposed access changes to Morfa Beach.
An online petition which was launched by members of the Save Morfa Beach (Friends of Morfa) is due to finish today.
It calls for the prevention of the closure of Public Footpaths 92 and 93 and has 1,137 signatures.
A public inquiry is expected to take place this later month.

“i remember years ago walking down the lane (as then) on to morfa beach with my mother who was a cripple, the air raid alarm going off and us having to rush back home.”
