SWANSEA Dockers's bid to regain the Pic-Up Spares Swansea Senior League division one title from Penlan took a blow as they went down 3-1 to the reigning champions.

Adam Carroll put Penlan 1-0 up from the penalty spot, but Dockers evened up the match at 1-1 through Kevin Miller.

Another goal from Carroll put Penlan back in front and Kevin Crabb, who was introduced late on, finished off the move of the match after great play between him and Gareth Morrell.

Cwmfelin Press again went into double figures as they moved to the top of the first division with a 10-0 win over struggling CRC Rangers.

Matthew Tregembo (3), Liam Lynch (3), Ashleigh Dennis (2) and Lee McManus (2) were on target for Press.

Morriston Olympic maintained their interest in the championship chase with a narrow win over much-improved South Gower.

The Gower men were 2-1 up with just ten minutes to go, but Rob John's two late goals sealed victory for Olympic.

Blaenymaes's excellent return to division one continues as they beat Llangyfelach 4-0.

Gowerton Juniors and Carreg Wen played out a 3-3 draw. Ben Steele converted two penalties for Gowerton and Kyle Thomas also netted.

Carreg Wen, who were 3-2 down until late, scored through Richard Searle, Lee Stereo and Jay Blaydon.

In division two, Morriston Town secured their second win of 2013 with a 4-3 defeat of Murton Rovers.

And this was despite being 3-0 down to a Murton side who would still have had promotion aspirations had they won.

Murton went ahead thanks to an own goal from Darren Franks, followed by a pair of goals from Mike Watkins all within the opening 25 minutes.

Town give themselves a lifeline just before the interval when Ashley Alm drilled into the bottom of the net following great work from Joel Hopkins.

The second half saw Town take command and Joel Hopkins was proving to be unstoppable as his hat-trick turned the match Town's way.

The pick of his goals came when he ran at the Murton rearguard and beat four defenders before thundering home from 20 yards.

Morriston Town were excellent value for their second-half comeback and this narrow win was the difference between them sitting in the bottom two and moving up to sixth place in the table.

Bonymaen Colts went on the goal trail again as they beat Plough Colts 7-2.

Andrew Allen (3), Simon Fowler, Lee Johnson, Adam Thomas and Daniel Hughes scored for Bony, who have an outside chance of a return to the first division.

Penclawdd beat Gors 4-0 to move into third place and put pressure on Ynystawe Athletic, who didn't play at the weekend.

Russell Price put them 1-0 up and it stayed that way until the interval.

Further goals from Ben Jones, Phil Raeburn and Price made it 4-0 ahead of this weekend's return match with runaway leaders St Joseph's.

Saints need three more wins to secure a return to the first division after beating Wern 3-0.

Rob Jenkins got himself another two goals, while Tom Hole again was on the scoresheet.
