Penclawdd denied by late Builth tries
PENCLAWDD pushed leaders Builth Wells all the way in North Gower in division two west before the Mid Walians scraped home 20-19.
The Cocklemen led for nearly the whole game until Builth scored two tries in the last ten minutes, the second in the final minute. Scrum-half Lee Gunnell scored Penclawdd's try, and centre Jamie Moore added the conversion and four penalties.
Tenth-placed Taibach overturned the formbook to snatch a 12-12 draw at second-placed Seven Sisters.
The Port Talbot team's pack had the upper hand for most of the game but they paid the price for missing three kickable penalties in the first half as Seven scored a try a couple of minutes from the end of the game when home scrum-half Gavin Hooper took a quick tapped penalty and burst over on his own.
