“Please spare a taught for the coach driver. Nobody knows what happened and why there was a pedestrian on the motorway but there was no brokedown or abandoned car found. I feel extremely sorry for the coach driver who was just doing his job and this happened. RIP to the pedestrian but say a little prayer for all those on the coach who will be deeply upset by this.”

    “@BADBOI
The article clearly says 'on the motorway' not hard shoulder on which pedestrians are allowed to walk to a telephone only.
Alighting onto the motorway, as you suggest, tragic as it was is still not allowed, other than following an accident which is not in the article.
The current CO2 regulations removing spare wheels from cars may well see more danger on our motorways, given the number of vehicles driving on the hard shoulder. Wiltshire police ensure removal within 4 hours due to this.”

siarad2 please dont jump the gun here, this poor person COULD of been getting out of a broken down car on the hardshoulder and been clipped by the bus??? lets wait till we know the full facts first i think is best in respect to the man killed and the poor family.”
