Pavement is too narrow

THE new councillor for Tonna has pointed out certain deficiencies in the roads, but not mentioned the road to Tonna Hospital.

It has no pavement and is not safe to walk on. The pavement to the post office and shop is only wide enough for one person at a time and is further constricted by cars permanently parked along its entire length. It seems everybody has a car, and many families more than one.

I gave up mine when I moved to Tonna because everything I wanted was in easy reach by foot, as is a bus to Neath and Swansea whenever I want to go there.

“Too narrow, a bit like Gwilym Levell by the sound of things”
