DRUNK and disorderly behaviour is being tackled by police in the Sandfields area of Swansea.

Residents have raised concerns about antisocial behaviour on William Street and Glamorgan Street.

The issue is currently set as a Pact priority for officers.

PCSO Dave Moore said: "High visibility patrols have been carried out on a regular basis which has resulted in less occurrences of antisocial behaviour and drunk and disorderly behaviour in the vicinity of William Street, Glamorgan Street and Madoc Street.

"There have also been no incidents reported of any persons shouting over the prison wall."

PCSO Moore added that patrols will continue.

Criminal damage to motor vehicles in those areas is also a current priority for police.
