Paper's making the news
A NEWSPAPER which has served Carmarthenshire communities for more than 200 years, is getting a new look this week.
The Carmarthen Journal, based in King Street in the town, will be "significantly bigger" from tomorrow, when it re-launches with brand new sections dedicated to schools, community news, leisure and agriculture.

Editor Jonathan Roberts, who has spent months working on the re-launch, said: "This is a very exciting week for the Carmarthen Journal. We already do a great job of providing our readers with a comprehensive news service, but we felt we could do even more.
"We've also lined up some great prizes, with a trip to New York, free shopping and fuel, and Six Nations rugby tickets all up for grabs.

“I do hope he always remembers the motto for coverage of Carmarthen Council's dealings, i.e. if you can't print anything nice then don't print anything.”
