Paper has new owner
THE South Wales Evening Post is to have a new owner. Our parent group Northcliffe Media will come under the control of Local World, a company established with partners including Iliffe News & Media and Trinity Mirror.
The new business aims to provide print and online audiences with high quality, reliable and useful content in whatever format they choose.
The substantial investment reflects Local World's confidence in the future of local media. Its portfolio of 63 websites has a monthly audience of seven million unique users and its combined print titles reach of six million people.
