Pair build on success
CONSTRUCTION trainees from Swansea and Port Talbot have been recognised in regional heats of an industry competition.
Jed Cave, 19, from Swansea, came second in the painting and decorating category while Pearce Rigby, 17, of Port Talbot, took third place in the plastering category in the South Wales heat of SkillBuild, the UK's largest multi-trade competition.
The heat at Coleg Sir Gâr is one of 14 regional heats across the UK ahead of a three-day final in September, which will be hosted by Preston College.
