Pair to put Dylan's life on stage
A SOAP writer more used to charting the melodramatic lives of the Mitchells and the Brannings, is collaborating with Mal Pope on a musical about Dylan Thomas.
EastEnders writer Rob Gittins and Mumbles-based singer and theatre man Mal, are plotting out Dylan The Musical, which they hope to premiere in New York in 2014, before bringing to Swansea.

The action will unfold during Dylan's final weeks in New York, finding the writer torn between his life in Laugharne and his life being feted by the literary set.
