Pablo Hernandez's fitness hope ahead of St Gallen game
SWANSEA City have fingers crossed that Pablo Hernandez will return to action when Swansea City host St Gallen in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Spanish international winger has not featured since inspiring Swansea to victory at West Brom on September 1 because of a thigh injury.
But Hernandez returned to training last week and, if all goes to plan, he could play some part as Swansea go in search of their second Group A win.
"Pablo has been training for five days or so," said boss Michael Laudrup.
"Hopefully, he should be more or less ready to go back in with the group this week and he will come back into contention."
While Hernandez is on his way back to fitness, Swansea are sweating over fellow wideman Roland Lamah.
The Belgian injured a toe during last week's Capital One Cup tie at Birmingham, and Swansea are still assessing the extent of the problem.
